This is a group of experimental work motivated by the emotional qualities of color and their interactions with each other. I consider the intersections and spacing of the organic horizontal and vertical planes to be a kind of landscape counterpart to unconscious emotion and memory. This is not a series that I actively work on, but I do attempt working on them when the inspiration and (mostly limited) time/chance arise.
UPDATE: (6/7/2008) I'm close to finishing the painting to the right and am also moving along very well on an even larger abstract that has been commissioned. I'm very excited about them and can't wait to display the finished works.
